Scholarships Opportunities
Bittersweet Garden Club anticipates offering three $1,500 scholarships to graduating high school seniors pursuing further education in horticulture, agriculture, or natural resource fields. Funds for these scholarships are raised through our community events like the Garden Tour and Garden Party. We are proud to support 2025 high school graduates in their educational journeys!
2024 Scholarship Winners
Scholarship Applicant Qualifications
Applicants must:
- Reside or attend high school in one of the following counties: Cole, Callaway, Maries, Miller, Moniteau, Osage;
- Be a graduating high school senior;
- Have at least a “B” average; and
- Plan to major in one of the following fields of study: Agronomy, Agriculture Education, Floriculture, Horticulture, Landscape Design, Botany/Biology, Forestry, Wildlife Science, Plant Pathology/Science, City (Rural/Urban) Planning, Habitat or Forest/Systems Ecology, Environmental Concerns, Environmental Conservation, Land Management, or other related or allied subjects
In addition to the Bittersweet Garden Club Scholarship, there are scholarships offered by the Central Missouri Master Gardeners and the Federated Garden Clubs of Missouri.
